FlexModular
• 3R is our all-steel, wholly pre-fabricated framework, arriving on site ready to install and the most straightforward of our systems, well suited to freestanding benches, wall runs and peninsulas where the layout is settled at design stage.
• Cleanline sets steel frames into our proprietary extruded aluminium rail system, allowing frames to be positioned anywhere along the run on site, which affords considerable flexibility on refurbishments and older buildings where the drawing and the wall rarely agree. Removable rear panels keep the service void accessible throughout.
• Pedestal supports the worktop directly on the storage units, making the most efficient use of the space beneath the bench, and mixes freely with our steel systems to leave open runs for seated users or mobile cabinets.
• FlexModular carries services on a floor-mounted steel spine or ceiling gantry rather than burying them behind fixed furniture, so benching and cabinetry can be repositioned later without disturbing the services installation. This client required ducted, heavy duty, vibration isolated, Trespa lined tall glass fronted drawer cabinets for sensitive, fume producing processes.
The drawers are constructed from 16mm Toplab, with 6mm Toplab liners to the carcasse interior, with drawers on soft close, heavy duty, smooth ball bearing runners to support the high load ratings specified per drawer.
A rear plenum formed by a double back and internal machinings, coupled with extensive small design features around the glass fronts and drawer designs along with tightly specified tolerances ensure even airflow throughout the cabinet.
The units are suspended from the floor and wall on bespoke in-house produced vibration isolating, load spreading mounts.
